BRIEF
Jeff Green contacted the PixelHaze Team requesting design services for his upcoming boxing event. He required a brochure-ware website for his boxing promotion business which advertised the upcoming event and help drive ticket sales. The scope of design work included designing promotional material that could also be easily modified for future events, building a bespoke brand, and producing sponsorship advertisements.
The promotion business needed a website developed ready for a successful launch in a short turn around. The primary purpose of this website was to serve as a brochure to promote the upcoming fight, its sponsors, and the promotion business, after the initial boxing event is completed, the website would be updated with additional features and information, allowing the business to flourish online with each new installment as a hub for hype generation for future events.
Jeff also required was filming of the event, he wanted material which could advertise future events on social media and an archive for the audience to remember and boxers to use as an additional resource for their training.
SOLUTION
The website's design showcases the energy and enthusiasm of the sport with a clear and user-friendly interface. The colour scheme uses bold and high-contrast tones of black, red, and white as the primary colours. The landing page is highlighted with the latest news, upcoming matches, sponsors page, contact page, along with easily accessible links to detailed analysis and information about the fights.
The design of the poster has been inspired by classical boxing match posters, but improved with a contemporary twist, the main text on the poster has been enhanced with a cut-out effect and a scannable QR code has been included to drive traffic to their social media.
The filming of the event was done using the mevo 3 camera setup by logitech, which we had strategically placed the cameras around the ring to get multiple angles of the fights.
Combined with striking imagery and video highlights that showcase the sport's athleticism and power.
