PixelHaze gets involved with 'Turn the 3 towns pink'

We are delighted to support the ‘turn the 3 towns pink’ campaign in aid of Cancer Research UK.

PixelHaze is based in Builth Wells and have many clients who are based in Llandrindod Wells and Rhayader and it has been fantastic go get involved with the various fundraising events in and around the participating towns.

PixelHaze helped to directly fundraise through the inaugural Roots Rugby event in Builth Wells and you may have also noticed that some of the colours have turned pink on this website in support of the campaign :)

THREE towns are getting ready to be decked out with pink bow galore for Cancer Research UK. Llandrindod Wells, Rhayader and Builth Wells will turn pink with more than 9,000 metres of ribbon. Volunteers from the three towns have been busy tying bows in time for 'Pink Week' on May 6 to 12.

Llandrindod Wells' Tesco Community Champion Jayne Griffiths has spent seven months planning for the event which started after being told by her manager Lee Cartledge to “go out and paint the town pink". She was inspired to raise awareness of the charity after she lost two close friends to cancer.

The former Builth Wells florist has teamed up with Glen Weale, member pioneer at Builth Wells Co-op, and Rhayader Co-op member pioneer Carolyn Finlow-Borrowdale to get the three towns ready to turn pink. She said that she was more concerned with creating a good community spirit and the money raised will be donated through the three local Cancer Research UK support groups in each of the towns.
