Welsh Overland Safari is an independent tour guide company offering unique overland guided tours of some of the most beautiful, unspoilt landscapes in Europe, as well as rare natural habitats for wildlife.
One of Wales’s best kept secrets, the region has a rich and diverse history dating back to well before Roman times. Exploring the rugged mountains, lakes, waterfalls and forests of the area.
The Brief
Our brief was to revamp the existing website and develop a modern, easy to navigate presence that would help to showcase the range of Mid Wales tours. It was also essential that the website should work seamlessly with mobile devices and tablets.
Our Solution
We were able to fine tune the content that was already available on the existing website, allowing us additional time to focus on the user experience. We developed a controlled balance between the use of imagery and content, ensuring that the website would appear less cluttered without sacrificing content that was essential for SEO (Search Engine Optimisation) performance. We revamped the layouts for each Mid Wales tour, developing a consistency between each tour page and then introduced clear signposting for the contact page.
All of the above adjustments were made to fit around the existing Welsh Overland Safari brand.
